The TDS-1000 represents the most recent top drive from NOV’s legacy Varco fleet. This 1000 ton top drive is the premier single motor offshore drilling unit. Its compact size and power are mainstay’s of the Varco top drive design philosophy.
This unique design incorporates the most durable and robust features in today’s modern deepwater applications. The TDS-1000 was designed specifically for use while hoisting and lifting today’s larger production strings and subsea equipment. Since its inception, this tool has been used on the deeper and more challenging production and drilling platforms around the world.
